A Windows-based computer running Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or FireFox is recommended.
We haven't tested it on a Mac. 99% of our users are on PCs. If you are a Mac user, please contact us
and let us know if you had any trouble--or that everything worked as expected.
Many of the guide's interactive features use JavaScript to provide a fast, convenient interface that
changes and updates without having to reload the entire page.
We can't give away our entire scoring algorith, or take the time to fully explain it, but here it is
in summary. You have to get a card right a few times before the system decides that you "know" it. For every
time you get a card wrong, you'll have to get it right even more times. If you aren't marking your answers
right and wrong, the system will still eventually mark that you know it, but you will have to view it many
more times.
When you are at the Flashcards screen, click the Subjects button to turn on or off the available areas.
The system automatically prioritizes the cards you need the most work on to display more frequently. If you
have a card you've missed a large number of times and you only have a small number of cards turned on (using the
subjects selector) it's possible that you may see the same card more than one time in a row.
Many of our study materials are for registered users only. Please login (or create an account if you don't
already have one) and the message will disappear.
You need to enter your SSN for a couple reasons. The most important reason is that we want to be sure it's
really you asking to talk to a recruiter. Your SSN isn't public information, so verifying your number is a
fast and easy way to make sure "you" are really you. Upon receiving your information from us, the Army uses your SSN to check
their recruiting database to see if they have ever talked to you before. This way, they can keep track of their
contact with you and also make sure any new records are matched up with your old ones. You can feel very safe
entering your personal information on our site. Our recruiting form is transmitted over a secure connection
directly from your browser to our database. The connection we use to transmit your data to the Army is also
secure. We will never disclose, share, or sell your personal data to anyone outside the Army recruiting team.
While the guide does not contain any Classified information, there are some documents and information we feel more
comfortable releasing only to US Military personnel. For this reason, we require all users to have a valid military email
in order to create their account.
At this time, the greatest demand is for TH-67 study materials. If we receive more than a few casual inquiries into
study materials for other aircraft, we'll gladly begin to integrate more features.
Click the 'Forgot Username/Password' link under the login box on the home page. You will be prompted to enter your email address,
and shortly after, you will receive your login information by email.
